THE MALAYSIAN DileMMA OF YESTERYEARS ,TODAY & THE FUTURE

Times change so do people, wise man used to imply. I am hoping this is so, as I am penning this article to remind elected Prime Ministers and other Ministers appointed by their political masters to fulfill their promises made during By Elections especially in General Elections

Always bear in mind that what was promised was reported in the various news items like the local Newspapers as well as the foreign ones. Just in case elected members think we also forget on Tun M’s coined version of “Malayu Lupa Muda.” So long as they understand that they were elected to their designated platforms due their election promises and past records, are by the peoples and for the interests of the people, and not because they are handsome, charismatic nor the party they that they choose represent. In fact I was one of their supporters that got fooled many a times.

Before the Ballot boxes are opened, they could imply that we are for ONE MALAYSIAN irrespective of race and religions, blur , blur and blur…..

After the results are known, they disappeared into the wilderness and nowhere to be found Though they may recruit a representative as assistant to help with the office load to record down your complains etc. etc. But for some, they may be present once in a month or a week to meet up with the people and try to solve their impending problems but that is not enough

CHAPTER ONE

The issue here is not only that but about giving out projects to their cronies without opened tenders or playing the race and religion cards to divide the different races. Its no more One United people but always about favoring the majority Muslim race as though we the Non Muslims like the Chinese, Indians, Ibans Eurasians and other hard working races combined together pay taxes and are named Pendatang as if they are themselves are not so! This is the reality of Malay Govt’s feature towards the Non Malays Please view the clip below as prove that still the majority race Muslim Malays enjoys the blood and sweat of the Non Muslims through their long overdue New Economic Policies coined differently after the racial riots of May 13th in 1969 . At that time Tun Abdul Razak Hussein ( Najib’s late father) promised Malayans then that four — five years plan should be enough to uplift the standard of living of the majority Malay race, to make them happy and satisfied.

Where everything from housing to subsidies, to education, should be discounted at 30% for the benefit of the majority Malay race — rich or poor across the board be they for Education, entry into Universities, Housings, Quotas of newly listed market shares is also included etc. , These 20 years incentives would be presumed and deemed enough to uplift the standards of our Muslims brothers then but not so for today is 2022. Sadly , it is not the case because corruptions and favoritism and cronyism begins to creep in.

With these promises, the Non Malays reluctantly gave in to help our Malay brothers and sisters to progress further .

Then after Tun Razak was sworn into office as 2th PM, he invited Tun Mahathir back into the UMNO’s fold despite Tunku vigorous objections. After ruling a few years, it was Tun Razak who set up the largest Felda Settlers' Land schemes to help the Malays to own agricultural land of ten acres each for free with a wooden house inclusive within a span of a few years of his short rule. The premature death of the sitting PM in office due to Leukemia. After Tun Razak 's demise, Tun Hussien Onn was selected as the 3rd P.M with Tun M as his Deputy, then popularly known as his DPM. .After he retired he handed the Premiership to Tun M become the 4th PM.

During the early days of his 22 years of unbroken record rule , he was the one who extended the NEP stating that the overall statistics had shown the 30% target promised has not been fulfilled . From this unexpected extension ,it was the beginning of cronyism when corruptions of all kinds sets in. The officer in charge and his subordinates in charge of discharging their official duties as distributors of the 30% promised earlier. This sets the ball rolling when they instead started to enriched their relatives, close friends, cronies with fertilizers, fruits plants and the many goodies attached to NEP ,as I am told . Even those rich Malays also benefitted with their purchasing of Taman houses at 30% discounted etc. Even inclusive of car and Shares ownerships of newly listed companies with distribution rights of franchises too

During Tun M’s rule, there were some good ideas from him like privatizing the constructions of various highways including the North / South express Highways, the Twin Towers to name just the few. Perwaja Steel factory and Proton car manufacturing are to his credit whether it’s failures as well as successes . His hand in converting of the Malaysian economies from that of Agricultural to manufacturing His most annoyance arrogance during his reign was his divide and rule policies that mostly sided with the Malays. Non Malays even though as a minority at 35%,of the Malaysian population then, we the Nons contributed the most in Taxes whereas, our Malay brothers together contributed only 8% to GDP and yet without being thankful, blended us as Pendadang ! What gratitude do we receive but for his divide and rule policies in return?. Hopefully ,with rise of Political Multi Racial Party ‘MUDA’ young Leader and co founder Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman could be more understanding to change the course of our beloved country for a better tomorrow. For all irrespective of Race and Religion…. !" If we have leaders like President Jokowi from Indonesia as our roll model for his charismatic unbiased wisdom in handling National issues like *race & religious freedom" for Malaysia to emulate ' We would be able to enjoy the fruits of a truly National unity today. Sadly but true, this is not the case, as they get bolder by the day, so much so that almost every member of Umno and Pas use these so called trump cards to win votes support during elections because their majority race strong support from the Kampungs Muslim Malays commands the majority Luckily today, most of our educated Muslim brothers and sisters read more with their vast knowledge to wake up and vote differently from that of their parents.

That being the case, why have the need to have Election Manifestos to hoodwink the voters? Might as well not have it!

Mahathir: Manifesto not bible, only a guide (thesundaily.my)

  • As one of the concerned Citizens of Malaysia, the real patriotism is the willingness to challenge the Government when we find that the way they move forward was way off their promised Election’s track as such, I am compelled to pen these “Cancerous habitual misgivings" so that future generations could enjoy the fruits of the different voting patterns that was created to brain washed these innocent Kampung folks into believing that if they vote opposition especially DAP ( their punching bag) whenever things goes wrong, the country would be turned into a Christian Country. That they might be 2nd class citizens in their own country. How is that possible? When the KING, PDRM, ARMY, Menteri Besar are all controlled bt the Malays? Also when the Oppositions form the Govt. their proverbial ‘Tongaat’ or NEP might be the thing of the past. To the poor, Bread and Butter issues are important factors to their survival. With this Logic, any right thinking poor Kampung folks would not even think of voting Oppositions no matter how good their ‘carrots’ are proposed. How will History remember Tun Mahathir Mohammed as the longest serving PM for 22 long and eventful years and with his winning his second term of 22 months ,promising the voters to be given a second chance to return as the 7th PM to remedy and correct his past mistakes If given the chance. That we did, hopping against hope that being old he would fulfill that G.E. promised Sadly,. the old saying that Leopards. never change their spots is proven true… As there has been Constance reminders from the left to adopt a progressive Patriotism. But very often this means ignoring uncomfortable truths
After Pakatan Harapan won GE 14 , he did fulfilled his promise to seek a Royal Pardon for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim but he failed to keep up to his other promise to install Anwar as the 8th PM for reasons only known to himself and Anwar Suddenly ,the whole Nation was caught by the surprises by his sudden resignation just 22 months into office partly due to mass resignations from his own PH members, lead by his loyal right hand man Muhyiddin Yassin, Asmin Ali and a few others causing the dramatic fall of PH and their component parties DAP, Amanah and PKR together with the aspirations and hopes of supporters of the New Malaysia dreams being dashed
Tun M’s so called right hand man Muhyiddin. with Asmin Ali and gang of frogs, left PH to form a new Political Malay Party named BERSATU who joined forces with their sworn arched rivals Umno and Pas to form the so called BACKDOOR PN GOVERNMENT .
They are known as political frogs who hops to join any political party that could provide the best of deals . Hence, Tun Mahathir is known as a failure not only to his peoples who supported his rise despite of his old age but also to his Component Political parties like PKR ,DAP and Amanah without even holding meeting and consulting them about his one man’s decision. Such is the man the voters placed their faith, hopes and future to! Wonder what Legacy will the man without honor leave behind after his sunset years?

Chapter 2

By Looking forward to change we hope to use a friendly country across the Straits of Melaka as the guiding light to hunt for a better and more moderately dynamic Leader like non other than the present two terms serving President Jokowi who is color and religious blinded, charismatic with lots wisdom in handling religious tolerance whereby churches, mosque and temple could be sharing the same street next to each other. There is no Haram with pork sellers selling their pork next to beef sellers, I am told. Lately it was reported that President Jokowi has changed the law , giving Muslim women their choice of wearing the Tudung (headscarf) or by their individualistic choices and not by force. Which is good and healthy for the Muslim individual to decide the option to wear. or not to wear in the tropical hot country like Indonesia.

Another of his hallmark of combating corruptions from all sectors of services especially the Civil service, Army , police etc. , etc. There was an Indonesian Police Officer caught while accepting bribes , he was stripped of his Cap & Uniform in a civilized & decent

Ceremony attended in the presence of other Police Officers as a deterrent and warning to most of them that accepting bribes in exchange for favors should be severely punished and not to be encouraged. As these corrupt practices has been inherited and practiced during his earlier predecessors like President Soharto and President Harbibi and Sarawati. The tasks of wiping out corrupt practices is not as easy as one could have imagined. So the demand for tougher measures is left to the imaginations of the Law enforcers. Hence, the video above produced, will show now that it works.

How I had wished Malaysia could have the will power to find their root causes to emulate and eradicate these cancer habits once and for all, for the betterment and advancement of our beloved country before it slides further downhill. Jail those caught with hush punishments while forfeiting all their ill gotten gains without mercy nor being pardoned

Before ending , let me conclude that when there is a will , there is always a way provided everyone sitting on the throne of power act with one voice and the will power to start cleaning the systems starting Now…Looking at the rise of poverty stricken , most populated country China as an example, where corruption was done openly but with President Xi Yinpin as President, he took toughest of actions by shooting to kill convicted officials caught with proof of corrupt practices. Within a short span forty years, they managed to bring the poor into middle and upper class status which caught America by surprise, China became the world second largest economies and richest country dethroning Japan into third placing in the world. Singapore is another living example of a clean government managing a small country with no natural resources but talented hard working population who frog leaped Malaysia into one of the most outstanding and smartest city in the world today with corruption under strictly controlled by the no holds' barred, iron fisted , no nonsense leadership of the late Lee Kuan Yew who was admired and praised by world leaders of yesteryears until today.

Ending here with my fervent hope that Malaysia would play catching up to climb the ladder of successes of the roaring tiger from where we had left behind ….” COULD WE, WITH THE PRESENT POLITICAL CLIMATE ? ‘

The End
