ALWAYS MAINTAIN ' Live AND LET LIVE’' BE OUR GUILDING LIGHT, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED!

Engku Nasrun posted on FB, citing 12 non-Malays' voices! Within a short period of time, it has been circulated nearly 50,000 times! Since it is interesting, why not share it?

The moderate, caring and brave Engku Nasrun Malay ethnic group exemplified the tolerance, respect and comity of other ethnic groups towards Malay compatriots one by one, and asked the assembly: *"Where and when are we being threatened? Why so extreme racism?”
1. Non-Malays and non-Muslims are waken up by our prayers every morning, but are they angry or disturbed by it? No! What would happen if churches installed loudspeakers so everyone could hear Christians preaching every Sunday? Holy war? Hope not;
2. Every Friday, we are the most invincible, because the roadside along the mosque is fully parked with cars blocking the right of way when we gather to pray, causing traffic jams, and non-Muslims can only accept it willingly.
3. When we buy a house, there are Bumiputra discounts of 30% across the board, whether we are rich or poor. However, as for non-Bumiputa, they are also born in, as Malaysians, but do they get a discount for buying a house? Is this only the rights of the Malays? Or apartheid if I am permitted to use this crude word?
4. Those outstanding non-Muslim and non-Indigenous students who want to further their studies in our Universities have to squeeze their heads, and even owe banks a large sum of money etc., just to pay for the tuition fees in Universities and even private Colleges. However, for the Malays, we are okay, as we have the University of Technology Mara (UiTM), and the Mara College ro lean and depend on. You know, non-Muslims are also Malaysian citizens too, but after they graduated, we also enjoy their taxes that they pay when they earn wages
5. Many non-Malays and non-Bumiputra parents send their children to private Colleges or study abroad, hence, they gained a wider range of knowledge and understanding more world affairs better. Their children return to work hard after graduation, and they get promoted faster. But during this time, many Malays complained that they are being marginalized, is this so? Shouting aloud that it is unfair, and that the government did not rescue nor help the Malays, etc.~ .
6. When we were in school we spoke English, people would ridicule us and say that we were being "foreignized". This is wrong aptitude. Who are those who ridicule us? It’s the people who say that their dignity is being by passed and felt humiliated.
7. We have been Independent for 65 years. It has been many years ago since we, and Chinese, Indians, Eurasians ,the Ibans and other ethnic groups live in harmony. We and other ethnic groups living together and playing together peacefully and happily.

Now as we are entering the 21st Century, there are still some of us who are completely unaware of the cultures of other groups. In order for other ethnic groups to respect us, we must show respect to others first. Respects has to be earned not a Birth Right

, mind you all!.
8. Ignore the cultures of other ethnic groups, but ask people from other ethnic groups to learn our culture and to understand our culture. How can this be so? There are always no two way street! Those who are not sensitive of other people’s cultures are obviously us. — Muslims Malays.
9. Other ethnic groups are afraid to joke about things related to our Malay ethnic grouping. They are worried that they will offend us or cause misunderstanding . In fact, it is all right and okay, but I don’t know why we are often “offended” so easily over petty issues
10. We keep emphasizing the so-called "holiness", in keeping our food holy and pure, and even sticking the labelled "Halal only" on our refrigerator. But you see, when we eat beef infront of fellow Indians, they don’t seem to care or feel offended, However, if our non Malay friends eat pork infront of us, we would feel sick and feel offended. Yes, we cannot eat pork, but is it necessary to the point where we can’t even look at non Malay consuming pork, or even to vomit? But by looking at the genitals of Non Malays, why we won’t feel sick or vomit?
11. There is a church built near a Malay residential area, and we feel that the cross makes us very uncomfortable and distorts our beliefs; so the church has to give in and take down the cross, which is really pitiful. We build a mosque in non-Muslim residential area, and if someone comes and make noise or complain, should we start a holy war? We are like spoiled and pampered child. It’s really shameful, I admit!
12. Why are they called anti Malays when they quarrel and do we start a jihad? Looking at the nationality of our Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Inspector General, Armed Forces, they are all Malays, where are we being threatened and that of our Nation? Why must we feel so offended and blame others for our inferiority complex?
Countless Malaysians from all ethnic groups has expressed their recognition of Engku friendliness and amiable understanding of their cultures. We have our colour blind Engku Nasrun to thank him for expressing the voices of the woes of non-Malays which would otherwise be in silent
mode. My good Malay friend commented: "Those Malay compatriots who hated other ethnic groups for no apparent reasons, please wake up! When Allah brought us all into this world, HE taught us to respect the rights others. Just imagine, if you are now with a big group of Chinese people who grew up in houses, can you imagine what would become of their lives if we hated them for no. reasons whatsoever?”

"916 Malay Dignity Demonstration",

The Organizers have constantly emphasized the need to defend the dignity of the Malay rights and Islam, and to deal with those who insulted Malays and Islam. However, there is also another voice in the Malay community, asking what is their threat to the Malays? Even our UMNO veteran Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah also scolded the Malays, for forgetting the huge contributions of other races to the country’s development and financial fortunes

Had there be only be Malays residing in our country, would we be so developed as a country as today?

Why not enjoy the fruits of their gains together with that of ours and live in harmony instead of being racists and jealous of their progressing? After all, they are regarded as one of us — Malaysians!

They have two feet, two hands and a brain in their skull so do we! Have we ever asked ourselves , why they can work hard and not always complaining while we cannot? It’s time to stand up and be counted and throw away our proverbial Tongkat (NEP,) and to work hard to regain the respects with dignity with our Non Malay brothers?

Let’s forget the past and love our neighbours to live in harmony. Progressing and working together in peace and happiness! Thinking aloud, “ had our past and present Leaders put the Malays in the shoes of the Non Malays, would we be so arrogant and unforgiving!” Things would not be so racists and enjoy the “ Big CAKE” together as Malaysians in progressing together as truly “ONE MALAYSIA”. like those in East Malaysia — SARAWAK!
